I had told everyone I knew I was a coach and my mailing list was growing. I built it so I knew they would come. Surely, the clients would let me know when they were ready for coaching. I knew the right words would flow from their lips praising my wonderful coaching. I was sure they would speak the magic words, "I'd like to hire you as my coach." The truth is -- it just doesn't work that way!
In a very short time, I found myself disillusioned with the whole sales process.
It was definitely time to do something different.
My first client hired me almost six years ago. Since then, I've learned how and when to ask for the business. I've also learned what to say to overcome objections without being pushy. My greatest success has been developing a really successful closing strategy.
I've gone from dread to glee using my own powerful closing strategy.
